VPK Voluntary Pre-kindergarten

Must have a VPK certificate from CDS (Child Development Services) Available at the South Dade Government Center, 10710 SW 211 Street;

Kindergarten and all other students new to Miami-Dade County Public Schools will need the following before attending class:

• Original Birth Certificate or legal proof of name of Student
• Health and Immunization Forms
• 2 Forms of Proof of current residency

Transfers from current Miami-Dade County Schools

Parent or legal guardian must present a valid withdrawal slip from sending school and proof of residency in the parent or legal guardian’s name.
